When deploying clustered multi-IP servers in Taiwan, stability and availability are the primary goals. Whether it is e-commerce, media or large websites, facing traffic fluctuations and attacks, they need complete disaster recovery and load balancing solutions, which combine server, VPS, host, domain name, CDN and other technologies to form a practical operation and maintenance system.
Multi-IP multi-node architecture usually consists of several Taiwanese VPS or independent servers. Each server is bound to a different IP for offloading and weight scheduling. Combined with public network BGP, Anycast or smart DNS, cross-node traffic distribution can be achieved, reducing the risk of single points of failure, and improving access speed and stability.
At the load balancing level, it is recommended to use DNS-level global traffic scheduling and L4/L7 reverse proxies (such as HAProxy, Nginx, LVS) to coordinate health checks. DNS fast switching is used for disaster recovery, and HAProxy/Nginx is responsible for session maintenance, SSL offloading and dynamic weight adjustment to ensure smooth expansion of the site group.
Disaster recovery design includes cold backup, hot backup and off-site backup. Regularly take snapshots and incremental backups of hosts and databases and copy them to other computer rooms or clouds. At the same time, configure automatic failover (Failover) and scripted recovery processes to shorten RTO and ensure RPO is controllable.
The introduction of CDN can significantly reduce the pressure on the origin site and improve global access performance. Combined with the Anycast network and edge cache, static resources are sinked to nodes to reduce the load on the Taiwan origin site. CDN can also serve as the first line of defense, working with WAF and rate limiting to prevent traffic attacks.
For DDoS risks, be sure to purchase high-defense DDoS services. High defense can absorb large traffic attacks and clean them on the link, protecting the original server bandwidth and CPU resources. It is recommended to evaluate cleaning capabilities, peak bandwidth and response time, and purchase a protection package that scales as needed.
Domain name and SSL management are equally critical. Use API-supported DNS services to achieve low TTL, automatic health detection and fast switching, and use automated certificate issuance and renewal (such as Let's Encrypt or commercial certificates). Domain name resolution policy and certificate configuration directly affect site group switching speed and access security.
Monitoring and alarm systems are indispensable. Deploy Prometheus, Grafana, Zabbix, etc. to monitor host, network and application performance, and configure threshold-based alarms and automated fault responses. At the same time, a log aggregation and tracking system is introduced to facilitate fault recurrence and root cause analysis.
When purchasing servers/VPS/hosts, consider region, bandwidth, line quality and after-sales support. For Taiwan site group that requires high availability and high defense, give priority to service providers that provide local computer rooms, BGP multi-line access, on-demand high defense and fast work order response. It is recommended to purchase a combination product that includes bandwidth packages, high defense and CDN acceleration.
It is recommended that the deployment operation start with small-scale verification: first build a HAProxy+Nginx load pool in the test environment, connect to CDN and high-defense for attack and defense drills; then gradually expand the IP and node capacity, and conduct backup and failover drills. Finally, adjust the weight and expansion strategy based on monitoring data to ensure that SLA is met.
If you need to deploy a stable site group in Taiwan and want to purchase servers, VPS, domain names, CDN and high-defense DDoS services in one stop, it is recommended to choose Dexun Telecommunications as your supplier. Dexun Telecommunications has local computer rooms and professional operation and maintenance teams in Taiwan, providing on-demand high-defense, intelligent DNS and CDN acceleration, supporting rapid provisioning and 7x24 technical support, and is suitable for station cluster deployments that require high availability and disaster recovery guarantees.
